Reflexology Lymph Drainage is a ground breaking and award winning technique, which may be used to help reduce lymphoedema after treatment for breast cancer. RLD is also useful for clients with other (non-cancer related) more common conditions.
The aim is to stimulate the function of the lymphatic system and drain excess lymph from the damaged area. This is done using a problem specific reflexology technique. The focus is primarily on reducing secondary lymphoedema, a swelling in the arm following treatment for breast cancer,I will measure the fluid volume of the arm before and after draining of the excess lymph via reflexology. Lymphatic drainage massage (MLD) can be used to treat conditions other than lymphoedema, and RLD may be used similarly. *Chronic Fatigue *Migraines *Muscular Problems~ including sports injuries *Premenstrual Syndrome *Pregnancy Oedema |
